Works still continue into the night to replace the broken fibre cable. The engineers on site have found usable replacements and are working to replace these.

Works are continuing on the fibre fault. No further update has been provided on this. When further information is available, we'll post it here.

We have been advised that the Virgin Media engineering team is now on site and investigating the fibre break. They will attempt a repair if feasible. At this time, no estimated time for resolution has been provided. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide further updates as they become available.

Virgin Media has informed us that their engineering team is still experiencing delays reaching the site due to traffic conditions around the location of the fibre break. We are awaiting confirmation that the engineers have arrived on site and will provide an estimated resolution time as soon as it becomes available.

We have been advised that the Virgin Media engineering team is expected to arrive on site at approximately 15:15 to assess the fibre damage. Further updates will be provided as soon as additional information becomes available.

Virgin Media has advised our leased line provider that a fibre break has occurred on the route connecting the provider's network to the Virgin Media interconnect.

Virgin Media is currently arranging for an engineering team to locate the fault and carry out the necessary repairs. We are awaiting further updates, including an estimated restoration time, and will provide additional information as it becomes available.
